Trump's Crooked Red Carpet for Putin 川普給普京的破紅地毯

Trump rolled out the red carpet for Putin two days ago on 15 August, people especially Ukrainians are upset about it but so far none in the whole world noticed the two stinging facts about the red carpet, not in any media as far as I know. The part Putin walked to get to Trump is extremely narrow and long, so narrow Putin had to literally do a cat walk! Not sure if it was meant to humiliate Putin or not, but quite comical nonetheless. Only, perhaps not even Trump, the official who designed it knows the truth. The part of the bigger rectangular carpet Trump was standing on, especially the part between him and Airforce One showed visually poorly cut scissor marks, crooked and uneven. Why not use a machine to cut, or even a better knife and long ruler? It shows the quality of the army or whoever did it. Even I could have done much better!

惠康事件不意外 No Surprise in Recent Wellcome Incident

昨日警方公布拘捕63歲羅姓男子，過去近1年在多家惠康和百佳超市可樂和7Up小樽裝汽水加料尿後再放回架上。一名小童飲後入院，母親報案並強烈要求涉案超市全面檢查。多虧了這個母親，不然不知大眾還要被隱瞞多久。據報，超市在例行檢查時已經多次發現可疑案例，但內部處理，密不公布。起因，竟是羅曾被惠康員工粗略對待，因而生恨報復，當然做法不對又犯法，但不意外。大多數惠康店員極不禮貌，問個問題像是被求或者打架仗勢，不同的店舖做法又不盡相同，看似根本沒有培訓和職業操守可言。

黃花梨書箱 Yellow Rosewood Scholar Box

真正的老黃花梨越來越少，遇到得手實屬緣分。漆和包漿厚重，用濕布擦了三次以後才清楚本色。底板應該是樟木，四邊立牆普通黃花梨。蓋面板上等，鬼臉多處，變化無窮。別與一般首飾盒，夠大，近40厘米長，應該是明清民國大戶人家用來收藏貴重文件和物品的，而且內部極可能貼裱了綢緞。

侶明室2011年拍賣過尺寸相當明末清初製標準明式小箱制式黃花梨書箱，長39.4寬22高16.8cm，價$32,200元人民幣; 2018年再次拍賣，價$17,250元人民幣，有稱名家效應之後冷靜發現箱底板明顯不是黃花梨，蓋頂和四面立牆是否黃花梨民間看法有也保留。此類書箱又有稱為狀元箱。
