U.S Knew Covid-19 on Jan 1, Before Any Other Country

Report by The New York Times on March 28 "The Lost Month: How a Failure to Test Blinded the U.S. to COVID-19" confirmed the U.S. CDC had been informed with details from the very beginning possible: "The first time Redfield heard about the severity of the virus from his Chinese counterparts was around New Year’s Day, when he was on vacation with his family. He spent so much time on the phone that they barely saw him. And what he heard rattled him; in one grim conversation about the virus days later, George Gao, the director of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, burst into tears." Robert Redfield is Director of U.S CDC! China CDC was not involved until December 31, before that it was local CDC from Wuhan or Hubei, which did not know what the disease was until December 30 or 31. Report confirmed also Redfield, on January 3rd, informed Alex Azar, secretary of Health and Human Services, and other top U.S. officials, which Azar himself admitted to reporters.

CDC in January invented its own test kits, instead of following WHO recommended procedures, and did not allow any other organizations or labs to conduct the tests for weeks. When pressure built up and CDC was forced to scale up and send out the test kits to other public labs in the country, 24 out of 26 these labs had problems with testing results. The problem was not fixed until March, why? Over two months passed without any meaningful testing or tracking, there is no way to trace the origin of the virus. What has the CDC been trying to hide, if this was not an honest mistake?

May 1: Trump no longer says China "should have told me earlier". Instead, he is trying to frame and blame Wuhan lab, and forcing U.S. intelligence to find evidence; so far, none. When pressed by reporters for evidence, here is what he had to say, “I can’t tell you that. I’m not allowed to tell you that.”
